Episode 18
Prepare To Take A New Step In God
Your preparation and daily communion with the Lord is basic to anyone's
walk with the Lord. Questions such as “What does it mean to wait on the
Lord,” or How should I read the scriptures,” should be of uppermost concern
for those who truly want a deep relationship with the Lord. Spending time in
the Word, waiting on Him and your daily worship is the foundation of your
relationship with the Lord, and the foundation of your relationship to those
who you relate to in the Body of Christ. Without this preparation of your
spirit, you are missing what the Lord would speak and impart to you in
everyday life. When you assemble with the family of God it is all about
active participation not passive observation.
Show Notes:
• Your time before the Lord in Worship, waiting on Him, reading His
Word is all a time of preparing yourself for your daily walk with Him.
• Functioning as a man or woman of God requires an anointing from Him
and that comes from time spent with Him.
• Preparing yourself to speak and hear a Word from God is a way of life.
• Walking with God is not a spectator sport!
• The point is He wants to have a relationship with you, and you can't
have that unless you are doing something in the relationship.
• Start each day with a meeting with the Lord.

Quotes:
You just can not rush into a walk with God.
It is about preparation not observation.
He wants a relationship with you, and you cannot have that if you are not
doing something in the relationship.
You should have a meeting with the Lord at the beginning of your
day.
Take away:
Start your experience with God at home and bring Him with you. It is a
conscious action, spending time with the Lord talking to Him, being with
Him. It starts from the desire of your heart to be filled. Spend the time, get
filled, know that you a r e filled, know that you are ready.
